Our Code of Conduct outlines our expectations regarding our own and exhibitor employees’ behavior towards their colleagues, supervisors and overall organization.
We promote a free, open, and celebratory environment . However, we expect all working attendees to follow our code of conduct. They should avoid offending, discriminatory behaviour and participating in serious disputes and disrupting the event. We also expect them to foster a well-organized, respectful and collaborative environment with us and all other attending businesses and staff.
Scope
These policies apply to all our festival attendees regardless of employment agreement.
What are the components of our Code of Conduct Policy?
Compliance with law
All attending staff must protect our company’s legality. They should not engage in any illegal activities while at the festival. We expect employees to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our and attending exhibitors products and public image.
Respect in the workplace
All attendees should respect their colleagues and peers from other exhibitors. We won’t allow any kind of discriminatory behaviour, harassment or victimisation. Employees should conform with our Harrassment & Discrimination in all aspects of their work
Protection of Property
All employees should treat our company’s property, those of other attendees and that of the venue, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.
All attending employees should protect all facilities and other material property in anyway associated with the event from damage and vandalism, whenever possible. This also includes other brand trademarks.
Professionalism
All attendees should fulfill their job duties with integrity and respect toward customers, stakeholders and the wider festival going and craft beer community. Supervisors and managers mustn’t abuse their authority. We expect them to delegate duties to their team members taking into account their competences and workload. Likewise, we expect team members to follow team leaders’ instructions and complete their duties with skill and in a timely manner.
Attending employees should be friendly and collaborative. They should try not to disrupt the event or present obstacles to their colleagues’ work.
All attending employees must be open for communication with their colleagues and professional associates and peers.
Disciplinary actions
Our company may have to take action against attending employees or companies who repeatedly or intentionally fail to follow our code of conduct. Disciplinary actions will vary depending on the violation.
Possible consequences for attending businesses and staff include:
● Removal from events
● Banning or suspension from events
We may take legal action in cases of corruption, theft, embezzlement or other unlawful behaviour.
