Mel ‘N Mint: ECBF Official Festival Beer

We headed over to our Leith neighbours Pilot at the end of March to brew the official beer of the festival—the first year we’ve done this. We wanted to celebrate the creativity of Scottish beer, and who better to do so with than Edinburgh’s own Pilot?

We can’t wait for the sun to shine on The Biscuit Factory to help us kick off the summer, and we wanted the perfect beer for sipping in the sunshine. As such, we came up with the idea of a low-ABV, fruited sour.

With Pilot, we worked up what we feel is the perfect recipe. Packed full of juicy watermelon, fragrant mint, and luscious hibiscus, Mel ‘N Mint is a vivid, refreshing ‘semi-sour’ with a tart edge followed by a big, fruity punch.
